First Post. Yay. Well, what I have to say on the matter is this, if the system is very hard to get, or it hasn't been on the market in ages, it shouldn't bother the companies. they aren't making money off of sales on Ebay or at flea markets anyway, so why should they care that I want to play an old game on my PC/Xbox/PSP/DS but in emulated form. I can see where Nintendo has came up with the idea of the Virtual Console, but those don't emulate 110% faithfully like my PC can, for example, in StarFox 64 (Love that game) it's addition to the N64 was the rumble pack, but in the VC, it has no rumble... Now I ask you, I know for a fact that the GameCube and Wii's controllers both support rumble, but why didn't Ninty implement this into the emulator? Nobody knows. Now, if I play this same game on my PC, I can have everything the VC can, with the addition of rumble. (And yes, I do have the N64 Goodset, but I own the StarFox 64 Cartridge for US/EUR/JAP. And yes, I am a fanboy :) ) But I can't see Ninty getting mad at people for pirating things like StarFox 2 on the SNES, because it was never released, and they didn't make any money from it anyway (Besides the sale to the SNES rom sceners) and now that there's a Fan made patch for it, it's 110% playable. So I really don't think there's any reason for them to care.
